This journey, condemned to never end […]
a young spirit “hungry” for truth or, even better, for immensity.
INHABITED DEPTHS
Critical presentation by Denitza Nedkova
Curator of the exhibition: Deborah Petroni
The hollow body of the matter, the variable rate of vital flow always show to those who live them only the depth but never the point of arrival, or the generative core. Alessandro Fronterrè dives his artist’s curiosity in this immensity that appears between conscious and unconscious and navigates by collecting relics, past and future memories, flashes still extinguishing or ready to light up. The two-dimensional fields of artist’s pictural photography show a space-time freezing that has the formal sterility of the Surrealism and the crystal clearness of the Romanticism. A lyrical, fluid and non-fixative look betrays the poetic nature of these images that exist between the reason’s photographic reality and the elusive figurative freedom of the the unconscious. This journey, condemned to never end beeing the essence of each opposite, interests the artist more than everything and betrays a young spirit “hungry” for truth or, even better, for immensity.
